Rising offshore wind power intelligent manufacturing

With the development of the development technology and the strength of the industrial chain, China's offshore wind power has grown rapidly.In 2018, China's offshore wind power installed capacity of 1.16 million kilowatts, a total of 3.63 million kilowatts.The rapid growth of the market has stimulated the coastal provinces to speed up the layout of the wind power industry. According to incomplete statistics, by the end of 2018, the total offshore wind power nuclear capacity of China's coastal provinces has reached 50 million kilowatts.

Putian, the seventh coastal city in Fujian Province's 2017 GDP, is known for its offshore wind resources.In 2018, the intelligent manufacturing base of Shanghai Electric High-power Offshore Wind Turbine, which integrates R&D and production, officially emerged here.

“Shanghai Electric Putian Manufacturing Base has a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and covers an area of 98,000 square meters.The factory is benchmarking the European intelligent manufacturing standards, increasing investment in process level, product technology, manufacturing R&D, and is committed to becoming the most advanced wind power manufacturing base in Asia. ”Chen Hui, general manager of Shanghai Electric Putian Wind Power Equipment Co., Ltd. said.

It is understood that the current Putian base has a 6~7MW series offshore wind turbine production line, and has formed an assembly and testing capacity of 150 sets per year.The factory started production of some production lines in March 2018, and the first 6MW offshore wind turbines were launched in July of the same year;In October, the first 7MW unit was off the assembly line;In December, the D6X offshore low wind speed unit was off the assembly line...Such rapid production capacity and growing power curve make the “Asia's most advanced” title of Putian base deserved.

According to the general manager of Chen Hui, the three offshore wind power products that have been successfully launched have been market-applied – the 6MW unit was successfully installed in the Xinghua Bay experimental wind farm;D6X has received a commercial order;The 7MW unit is expected to be connected to the grid for power generation in the first quarter.For the 8 MW units that are currently popular in the market, Shanghai Electric has also been introduced in early 2018, and  will cooperated with the two bases of Putian and Shantou to complete the installation and commissioning of the prototype in 2019.

It can be said that in just one year, Shanghai Electric Putian Wind Power Manufacturing Base has made the most of the three industries with the largest factory scale, the largest installed power in China and the fastest construction speed in the world.
